Koki Sato
Photographer
Koki Sato was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. He graduated from Tokyo Polytechnic University in 2009 and moved to New York in the same year.He completed full-time programs at the International Center of Photography in 2011, and began working as a photographer based in New York, providing visuals for numerous brands and artists.
Koki published his first photo book, “99¢ City” in 2016, and his second, “fragile” in 2019. His third photo book, “NOSTALGIA”, was published by Paradigm Publishing in 2021, and was recognized with a book release event at Mast Books in New York, as well as a solo exhibition at THE PLUG in Tokyo.
His most recent photo book, “GYAKKO”, was published by RISE ABOVE GALLERY in 2023, in addition to having a solo exhibition at their gallery in Osaka and at AA in Tokyo.
